Recently, I spent a rejuvenating weekend at Pousada Morada do Sol in São João del Rei, and it was truly a delightful escape. The spacious rooms were a breath of fresh air, with comfortable beds, which felt like a warm embrace after a long day of exploring. I particularly enjoyed the vibrant garden and the inviting patio area around the outdoor pool-perfect for lounging while soaking up the Minas Gerais sunshine. Every morning, we were treated to an excellent buffet breakfast that laid a solid foundation for our travels. Although the pousada is a bit of a drive from local cafes and restaurants, the serene environment made it worth it. Just be sure to rent a car for a seamless experience. With friendly staff making you feel at home, this place definitely offers great value for money without compromising on charm.
